Charlotte Gibbs, founder of Primo Music
Charlotte studied for both a BA Hons (Music) and MMus (Performance) at the University of Southampton. As a professional flautist, she is an active performer, working both freelance as a soloist and with the chamber group The Britannic Ensemble. Charlotte devotes much of her time to music education work. Until having her little girl, she taught both undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Southampton and children of all ages. She has developed a distinctive method of teaching the very young incorporating music and movement, together with a focus on the voice as the first instrument, and seeks to evoke a life-long love of music with all she works with. Charlotte is an approved member of the Register of Professional Private Music Teachers with The Incorporated Society of Musicians.

'The children are mesmerised by Charlotte and love the unusual musical instruments that she brings in. Charlotte really gets to know the children and makes your child feel special...great for building confidence!'
