'This is a fantastic class! My 2 year old has been going to Charlotte's Monday class for nearly a year now and he really enjoys it. As a music teacher myself I highly rate Charlotte's sense of musicianship and the way she translates this in such a fun way for the little 'uns.'

I have been loving my children's Monday afternoon music classes with the wonderful Charlotte Gibbs (nee Bettle) aka Primo Music. William is three and a half and Eleanor only turned 2 at the beginning of July. They love the class, practise all the songs at home and in the car (though still a bit reticent about singing out in class) and are developing musical awareness so naturally that I would very soon be envious, except that I am learning with them. Charlotte's early years teaching is the perfect springboard for more formal musical learning and I couldn't recommend it more highly. Anyone with children, grandchildren, nieces/nephews aged 0-8 should give it a try. We can't wait for September!

'The classes are fun for the kids and for the adults and Charlotte changes the class every week so they remain fun and interesting. You can tell that so much care and attention goes into planning the class so that children of different ages can enjoy and take part and so the children can build on what they have learned. The songs are catchy and focus on things that your child will come across on a regular basis so you find your child singing the songs throughout the day, such as when it rains "rain is falling down", or when they see the postman "Here comes the postman". The classes are very relaxed and not intimidating at all for the kids or the adults.'

This is a lovely, friendly and informal music class and my daughter and I always love going! I feel lucky that I've found this class as it's refreshingly different from the more commercial music classes out there. Charlotte is a brilliant musician, and doesn't rely on pre-recorded backing music. If you are a bit fed up of singing the same nursery rhymes over and over with your child, this class is fab as Charlotte teaches the children lots of unusual but simple and fun songs with loads of enthusiasm. She focuses on rhythm and encourages the children to clap, tap their knees, stamp/tip toe around the room and really participate. She uses loads of props....puppets, teddies, stars, froggy in a blue stretchy pond, indian scarves, a see saw, claves, gets the children singing in 'rounds' and even doing solos if they wish... The children are mesmerised by Charlotte and love the unusual world musical instruments that she brings in. Charlotte really gets to know the children and makes your child feel special...great for building confidence! Mums are friendly and Charlotte creates a relaxed environment with no pressure for your child to join in if they're not ready.'

'Weekly classes are fun, lively and action-packed with some routine activities but always something new and surprising! The well-planned sessions are always filled with lots of songs, engaging puppets and toys being pulled out of bags or boxes and being shared amongst the children, which are used to introduce musical concepts (loud/soft, high/low). Involving them all in accompanying actions and a physically-active circle time means the children are fully engaged, completely absorbed and consequently totally uninhibited about being asked to respond by singing. A great way to introduce children, both lively and more introvert, at an early age to the love of music, rhythm and singing.'
